For the third year in a row, the Archdiocese of Chicago will be offering a 2-for-1 Matching Gift Program for Tax Credit Scholarship donations made through Empower Illinois between December 1, 2020, and February 28, 2021. Donations eligible for the matching gift program are capped at $50,000 per school and only donations made to archdiocesan-run schools are eligible. The 2-for-1 match will be offered until February 28, 2021 or until the matching funds are depleted – whichever occurs first. Any unused matching funds at a school without children remaining on the wait list as of April 1, 2021, will be automatically transferred for use by students on the general Archdiocese of Chicago waitlist.
