Dear Families,

I hope you are finding this cooler weather a pleasant reminder that change is everywhere. As part of our commitment to enhancing the Faith-life of our families, we are excited to introduce a new pilot program designed specifically toward the future of our parish. This initiative aims to deepen our dedication to assist you in raising your child as a disciple of Christ.

This initiative is offered through the Archdiocese of Chicago and comes from the National Community of Catechetical Leaders [NCCL]. As part of our three-year commitment, we have put together a cohort. Along with Fr Paul and myself we have teachers from Saint George School, catechists from our Children’s Faith Formation and parents from both school and CFF. 

Through this program we will be meeting with other parishes while at the same time developing a process geared specifically for Saint George Parish. I ask for your participation by taking a few minutes to fill out a survey. This survey was put together by the NCCL. Our cohort will not get individual responses, but we will get a comprehensive report. The information will be combined with national statistics to help provide a bird’s eye view of what young families are experiencing. It will also help us address the needs and wants of our families.
