Please join us to celebrate God’s mercy and love for us.
Divine Mercy Sunday is an official feast of the Catholic Church instituted by Pope John Paul II. At the heart of this celebration, are the messages of Divine Mercy given to Saint Faustina by Our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus asked that the first Sunday after Easter be declared as a feast for His Divine Mercy and promised to pour out many graces on that day. From Saint Faustina’s Diary: “Divine Mercy, repose of hearts, I trust in you. Divine Mercy, inspiring hope against all hope, I trust in you.” (Diary 297)
Pope Francis proclaimed that mercy is the beating heart of the gospel. As we continue to recover from the pandemic and continuing social unrest in our country, we need to pray that our lives and our country will be anointed with Divine Mercy!
The Divine Mercy Prayer Service will be held, in the sanctuary, after the 11:30 AM Mass.
