The Saint George Conference of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul helps neighbors in need living within our parish boundaries. Our ministry, made up of Catholic lay persons, provides support through charity, spirituality, and friendship helping people meet Christ in others.
We work directly with individuals experiencing hardship to address their immediate needs and offer tangible assistance. Additionally, we connect our neighbors with community resources to promote long-term stability.
If your family or someone close to you is in need, please contact us at 708-532-2243 Extension 5. A representative will return your call as soon as possible for a confidential conversation. Compassion and confidentiality are the cornerstones of our ministry.
Saint George Parishioners generously open their hearts and finances to share with the less fortunate in our community. We rely on these donations throughout the year to serve our neighbors in need.
Your gift to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul reflects your discipleship of Christ and brings comfort to those facing fear, loneliness, and uncertainty. Saint Vincent de Paul poor boxes are located inside the inner doors at all exits.
We welcome fellow parishioners interested in joining our mission to support those in need. Check the Saint George bulletin for meeting times or leave a message on the Saint Vincent phone line 708-532-2243 Extension 5 and a Vincentian will follow up with you.
