We pray for Sister M. Eleanor Carella, who died on May 2nd. Sister served at Saint George School for many years. Sister came to us as a teacher from 1958 to 1961. She returned as principal for the 1968-69 year. From 1969 to 1971 she served the Mantellate Sisters as First Provincial. Sister returned to us as principal, a position she held from 1972 to 1984. Leaving Saint George, she became a missionary for seven years in Africa. Sister Eleanor also worked in a school in the bush country of Swaziland. Sister’s love for Saint George brought her back to our school as a resource teacher from 1992 to 1995. From then until 2004, Sister worked with our school Administrative Staff.
